were in different ways refused. Free tickets had to have only emigrants, which co-
uld not go further because of their »real poverty«. The Serbian Ministry of internal
affairs brought decision in 1900, because of massive arrival of emigrants from
Bosnia and Herzegovina, to sell them tickets in a half of price, only if they bring
certificate from the Ottoman consulate in Belgrade that they are really emigrants.
Few years later, numerous, disappointed and impoverished emigrants, with no
founded peace and welfare in different parts of the Ottoman Empire, again will
pass across Serbia.
