THE MATERIAL FROM ETHNOGRAPHY FIELD RESEARCHES
IN SERBIA- IRREVERSIBLY LOST
Abstract: The text discusses a lack of archive material and other ethnography
researches in Serbia, from establishment of Ethnology as a discipline until present
day; the reasons for such practice are reconsidered and its consequences, and the
concept of “authorship” over the material, the interest of financiers and excluding
of the material within the Ethnography researches from the frame of cultural heri-
tage protection.
