               Abstract:  The  paper  represents  the  enclose  to  studying  of  history  of  adult
               education and schooling in Serbia, given through the view of scope of work
               of schools for the primary adult education and noticing of their development
               until present days, in the social context. The beginning of these schools could
               be followed further on into the past, but their present format is mostly present
               from the period after 1950, thus, in this context, these representative examples
               are  stated  here,  functioning  from  that  period.  The  Primary  Adult  Education
               Schools are the most significant institutions in the formal adult education. From
               their early days, as folk and employees’ universities, until present day improved
               forms, they are the places where there is a given opportunity for training and
               present at the Labor Market to many. The functioning organization of these
               schools suffered certain status and program changes and they helped them to
               become a part of the national formal education. The motivation of adult learners,
               the  unfavorable  social-economical  status,  the  family  care  and  insufficient
               measures at the state level are all noticeable as the most significant chronicle
               issues in adult education.
