PALEO BIO-DIVERSITY HERITAGE OF MESOZOIC
IN THE AREA OF NOVI PAZAR (SANJAK, WESTERN SERBIA)
Abstract: The development of the earlier Geological periods in the
territory of the observed region does not differ from the gradual development
of the living world on the planet Earth. The specifics in development of certain
animal groups, lines or sorts are connected to the special conditions that existed
within the eco system and time, and it allowed the existence of exceptions. Thus,
following of the fauna development in our region, should be seen as an integral
part of development of the living world on Earth. From the Geological aspect,
the development of the living world through the past Geological periods can be
introduced with only through documented data the found fossils offering to us.
Through the fossil organisms or organic remains of the system, where they are
preserved, we can estimate what conditions (physical, chemical, bio-chemical)
ruled in the past. The rocks and fossils are connected inseparately to reading and
interpreting of Geological conditions of development evolution, since they make a
whole that was exposed to all mutations of a certain period. Fossils allow to us to
“revive” the living environment in the distant past for each period individually by
connecting of these relations, we gain one general picture of a possible evolution
and transformations of the eco system of the past times.
