WOMEN IN AGRIBUSINESS IN UNDEVELOPED
AREAS — THE CHANCES OF CROSS-BORDER COOPERATION
AND INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE
In a market economy and the existence of competition from other eco-
nomic entities is essential organized business approach every entrepreneur or
business enterprise in the appearance on the market in order to survive and to be
able to realize their business ideas and goals. The main goal of any business entre-
preneur or business enterprise is earning income.
The focus of attention is on the analysis of the current situation of agri-
cultural holdings, farms, plants or entire business enterprise, deficiencies in the
use of available resources (materials, labor and financial), the analysis of difficul-
ties in the placement of existing products or services, either because of outdated
technological products, tougher competition, unfavorable economic measures that
emphasize the import of products and there by limit the placement of national
products and to research alternative solutions, in order to fully exploit available
resources, advanced the technology, improve business efficiency and thus reha-
bilitate profitable operations in the future.
The program aims to encourage and motivate the unemployed to master
new knowledge and skills in the development of individual entrepreneurship to
gain more confidence in the approach to self-employment and thus acted quickly
to strengthen their economic position and leaving the long-term economic and
social crisis.
The goal of the inclusion of unemployed persons, mostly females, as sig-
nificant resources in underdeveloped rural areas. According to the USAID Serbia
Agribusiness Development Project, a program of training personnel for individual
entrepreneurship should contribute to increasing the production and marketing
of agricultural products from the location of Novi Pazar, Sjenica, Prijepolje and
Kučevo the domestic and foreign marke.
