Director and Editor of the Novi Pazar Collection of Works, PhD Ejup Muso-
vic (1930–1995). This year, with a great effort of the Museum, the Making
of Passion Flowers in the Woman’s Bosniac Traditional Clothing, this was
enlisted into the National List of Non-Material Cultural Heritage. It was
entrusted to the Museum to supervise the Archeology project of building the
gas pipe line (Aleksandrovac – Tutin).
Everything the Museum does is encircled with publishing of the annu-
al scientific journal Novi Pazar Collection of Works, being financially sup-
ported by the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia.
Novi Pazar Collection of Works, year after year, gathers new cooperates,
young scientific workers, it is the support to their advancement, but they
are also the support to advancement of this significant expert and scientific
journal. All cooperates who wrote until the fortieth issue, we gathered with-
in the Monograph “Forty Years of Novi Pazar Collection of Works (1977–
2017)”, being published in 2018. This, forty-fifth issue of Novi Pazar Col-
lection of Works, is the topic of several areas of the Museum work, from
History, Archeology, Music, Tradition, Art, Oriental Studies, Culture and
Life, until History of Literature and Language of our people. The richness
of interweaving different cultures, co-life of numerous communities and re-
ligions for centuries, rich tradition of the nations who share the mutual area,
are the characteristics of Novi Pazar. However, to our great regret, as the
community, we do studying of the History of Novi Pazar very modestly and
shyly, and all of our values and characteristics. This work, that should be a
priority to our experts, scientific and educational institutions, industrious
individuals usually do, the community has a great benefit from. And to show
something is valuable, it can also last, we gather for almost forty-five years
these individuals into a great family of cooperates of Novi Pazar Collection
of Works. And, we are all here, and it is in front of all of you, Novi Pazar
Collection of Works, issue 45.
