A BETTER PRIMARY SCHOOL - BETTER FUTURE OF THE YOUTH

Abstract: A primary school covers with its influence and contents of education
eight jolly years of childhood and youth. It is a far serious issue to be ignored or
neglected. A primary school must not stop while children are growing up. A primary
school must grow up together with children. Or even faster than them.
A primary school, used to be a folk school, closed to ethnocentricity, an
emphasized expression of a change of folk’s principles in development of the society
of XIX century. Today, it is less ethnocentrical, it is more civic oriented, a civilization,
education and culture institute. Freedom, democracy, justice is appropriate for the
youth and children. A primary school must support them in it; encourage pupils to
accomplish themselves related to these ideas and the future before them.
The sense of the topic is almost the same as in sciences on education and its
most significant categories. It is finding the best way in life in work and creation, for
every child, every future man. Indeed, a better primary school isbetter future of the
youth. This research project, the topic and subject of the paper have been raised out
of the issue whether a primary school from this area is in the same education system
of Serbia like other primary schools, in other parts of the country. Does a local
school differ from others and what is the way the difference is reflected in within the
flows and outcomes of education and upbringing?
