NEOLITH LIFE IN BIJEDICI

Abstract: In this paper, it shall be spoken on the Neolith life located at Trnje
in Bijedici, in Bijelo Polje. The aforementioned location is well-known in the public
as an archaeological destination that is one of the most significant in the area of
Bijelo Polje, i.e. its researches have not been published in a complex style. Thus,
we have decided to publish the location of Trnje and suggested on it, together with
the other Neolith locations of Montenegro Polimlje area. Regarding this Neolith
settlement that is a huge cultural treasure, both in Monenegro and Serbia, it has
proved, by its found artefacts, of the life of a man in the early Stone Age.

Key words: Trnje, Bijedici, Neolith, archaeological researches, the culture
of Vinca and Starcevo, settlements, material culture, social-economic and spiritual
life.
