TWO VAKUFS DOCUMENT ABOUT NOVI PAZAR

The study refers on the two original documents from collection (fond)
Cevdet Tasnifi published by the imperial office of the sultan Selim the 3 (1789
rd
1808). It is about order (ferman) and decree (berat) from collection Confidential
documents of teacher Dževdet (Cevdet Tasnifi, Ekvaf Kismi), which are time re-
lated on the last decade of the 18 century, precisely period after the Novipazar s
th
Sanjak forming (1790), one of the administrative units of Bosnian province (Tur.
Bosna eyaleti). Both documents are about vakuf s problems and are related to two
sacral objects — two mosques Ahmed pasha and Ali pasha that is difficult to place
judging by their names.
