KPJ AND NOP IN NOVI PAZAR’S DURING
THE OCCUPATION IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR
By it’s structure this article presents a short history of Novi Pazar’s district
during the occupation in the Second world war. The first year of the occupation
was fulfilled with big changes and important events. The first days of occupation
surreder of the authority in Prefecture was performed, District’s court, municipial
and town. An Albanian committee and in the beginnig of the June a Great Albania
was announced. Novi Pazar’s withdrew from Serbia and joined a Great Albania.
In that period an armed groups from April untill June Rifat Burd`evi} called
»Tr{o«, established a party cell and he gave directions about it’s work because in
this district partisan squad was not established, members of KPJ went to Kopao-
nik’s and Jastrebac’s partizan squad and Novi Pazar stayed without KPJ members.
The party cell in a town was established by Emin Red`epagi} which continued ac-
tivities with help of a local committee KPJ from Kosovska Mitrovica.
The most productive year in work of KPJ and Novi Pazar was 1942 as an ur-

ban so in a rural district. Leaflets were distributed, the first NOO in Po`ega es-
tablished and in Novi Pazar two party cells were established two actives of
SKOJ **** and a local committee of KPJ. In De`eva the party cell was established
and in Po`ega SKOJ’s active. In the same year in a spring the Germans arrested
and interned all the Jews in town. They were all liquidated like as all activities of
SKOJ in Novi Pazar’s district the Germans compulsory mobilized the Moslems for
the German army and on Odvra}enica on the Golija partisans disarmed De`eva’s
brigade of Javor’s corpus.
